About Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams is an Emmy-nominated actress known for film and television work including Dawson’s Creek and the FX series Dying for Sex. She is married to director Thomas Kail and is a mother to daughter Matilda (with the late Heath Ledger) and multiple younger children she shares with Kail. Recent update — Surrogacy & a new baby girl

Michelle Williams recently confirmed that she and husband Thomas Kail quietly welcomed a fourth child via surrogate earlier this year. During an August 2025 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she publicly thanked her surrogate, Christine, and revealed that the newborn is a baby girl. These remarks brought one of the first public acknowledgements of the surrogacy and the child’s gender.

    Our Heavenly Father, We praise You for the gift of new life and for the safe arrival of Michelle Williams’ baby girl. Thank You for the hands and hearts—especially Christine, the surrogate—who helped bring this child into the world. We ask now for health and protection over the newborn and for wisdom and strength for Michelle and Thomas as they care for their expanding family.

    Grant restful nights, patient hearts, and abundant grace in every ordinary moment of motherhood. Protect their privacy and set healthy boundaries around the family so they can raise their children without undue pressure or intrusion.

    Most of all, Lord, we pray for salvation and deeper life in Christ for Michelle, Thomas, and their children. Draw them by Your Spirit to a living faith—reveal Jesus to them as Savior and Lord, bring repentance where it is needed, and fill their home with Your peace, joy, and wisdom. Use this season of blessing to point many to Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
