What Does Parasite Infection Mean?

A parasite is an organism that lives on or inside another living being (the host) and obtains nutrients at the host’s expense. Common skin‑related parasites include hookworms, scabies mites, and certain types of larvae that can burrow beneath the skin. Symptoms often involve itching, rash, and visible movement or tracks. Treatment typically requires medication prescribed by a physician, along with hygiene measures to prevent reinfestation. Understanding the basic nature of the condition helps believers pray with knowledge rather than speculation.

Why We Must Pray

Scripture repeatedly calls the church to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and to intercede for the sick (James 5:14‑15).
