Why we are bringing this before the Lord — pastoral & spiritual reasons

We intercede because:

• Physical healing: Pray for effective treatment, reduction of side-effects, and complete restoration if it is God’s will.
• Protection & wisdom: Pray for the medical teams—surgeons, oncologists and nursing staff—to have wisdom and skill in every decision (James 1:5).
• Emotional & spiritual strength: Facing cancer is heavy for patient and family—pray for peace, courage and endurance (Philippians 4:6–7).
• Privacy & dignity: Pray that the King and his family will be granted respectful boundaries that protect rest and recovery.
• Public witness & stewardship: Pray that the King’s platform (if he so chooses) may be used to encourage compassion for patients, raise awareness of cancer care, and steward influence for the common good.
• Salvation: We pray for the King’s soul—that he might know Christ’s saving grace and that any public influence he holds would point people to the gospel (Romans 10:9–10).
